The Dark Side of Islam?

Let’s just say there are things in Islam which are ,for the lack of a better word, a bit sweet. Such as Allah being Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Raheem, Paradise, Laylatul Qadr, Hajj, being rewarded for every letter of the Quran we recite and did  mention Paradise?

And then there are things in Islam which are, for the lack of a better word, sour or even bitter. Such as Allah being Maaliki Youm-id-Deen, Riba being haram, Hell fire, people going in Hell, lowering your gaze and did I mention Hell?

Whenever we commit a sin, we consciously/unconsciously make the intention before we commit it. That spark of evil comes in our mind ( aka waswasa from shaytan) and just doesn’t go away.
So here’s what to do:

1. “And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytaan (Satan), then seek refuge with Allah” 7:200

2 – To put a stop to this matter and turn away from it, and to keep ourselves busy with other, useful things.  Continue reading
